Memory foam is high specification foam with unique properties when it comes to comfort. If you sleep on a memory foam pillow or mattress pad you will experience far more comfort than you would with a regular pillow or mattress. In addition, memory foam helps to ease and prevent painful pressure points.

Memory Foam is pressure relieving. Activated by pressure and warmth, memory foam moulds itself exactly to your body shape. Pressure is evenly distributed over your whole body, not just on the heavier parts such as shoulders, hips and knees.

Symbio® memory foam moulds itself more quickly to your body shape than other sorts of memory foam, offering instant comfort. As you change sleeping position, the Symbio® memory foam adapts with you. Thanks to a favourable temperature curve Symbio® memory foam remains soft and comfortable even in lower temperatures.

Symbio® pillows are made from Symbio® soft memory foam with a density of 55kg/m3. Symbio® Top is made from Symbio® medium memory foam with a density of 65kg/m3. The density is just one of the factors in Symbio® memory foam´s unique composition.

Most Symbio® products are finished with breathable 3D-Tex, recognizable as the grey, jersey side to the product. This is perfect for those who suffer from night time perspiration as 3D-Tex is a breathable layer of three dimensional polyester fabric.This means that you sleep on a layer of air. Symbio® memory foam itself has a closed cell structure and is not breathable. We advise those who suffer from excessive night time perspiration to look for an alternative material.

The Symbio® Fusion feels as special as it looks, with special ergonomic shaping around the neck, back and shoulders. If you value ergonomic support and want to sink back into your pillow this is the pillow for you. That is why we say that the Symbio® Fusion is the ergonomic pillow of your dreams!

Yes, you can use a regular rectangular pillow case with your Symbio® Fusion pillow. Specially shaped pillow cases are also available, ask your dealer for more details.

The Symbio® Ergonomic is available in Standard and Large. Side sleepers tend to prefer the higher Large model, whilst back sleepers generally prefer the Standard model. Ask your sleep specialist which pillow is the best for you.

The Symbio® Top can be used on any mattress that is in good condition. For optimum comfort it should be used with a firm, flexible mattress. Please ensure that your mattress does not sag. The Symbio® Top can improve the comfort of your mattress but cannot make an old mattress new.

Should you require a mattress pad in a non standard size, please contact our customer services to discuss the possibilities of making a made-to-measure mattress pad.

Yes, you can use an electric blanket. Place the electric blanket on top of the mattress pad and not underneath. An electric blanket can affect your comfort as the extra warmth will make the mattress pad softer. Also, electric blankets are less elastic, meaning that your mattress pad can adapt less well to to your body shape.

The product has been sealed. In some rare cases there may be a slight smell when you open the packaging. This is totally harmless and will disappear within a couple of days. Airing the product will get rid of the smell more quickly.

You can sleep on either side. The Symbio® Top is finished with a warm, white winter side and a cool grey summer side. Choose the side you find most comfortable.

The human body has to adapt to changed conditions.Some people take longer to adapt than others. Give your body time. You will certainly not be the first who after a few weeks will not want to sleep on anything else.

Whilst your mattress pad should last a lot longer, you can expect at least 5 years of excellent performance given normal usage of about 8 hours per day. The life span of the product is always dependant on the intensity of use, body weight, care and length of use.

All ThermoFit Symbio®covers are fully removable and machine washable at 30°C. Please consult the washing instructions on the cover itself. The inner of ThermoFit® products should not need to be cleaned. If necessary it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The foam dries slowly, so use no more water than absolutely necessary.
